1976 Isuzu Gemini Group C Ex McClure

A geniuine Group C racer with flares and fun at a bargain price.
Raced from 1976 to 1984.
Starts at Bathurst 1000, Sandown 500 etc.
Reliable, cheap to run and most importantly good fun!

The mighty Gemini, in Isuzu and Holden guise, raced both in Australia and all over the world, as a multi badged GM product.

These little weapons in Group 2 guise (We call it Gp. C) were terrors at Mt Fuji, Spa and Daytona, along with our own hallowed Bathurst.

Known for being bulletproof and cheap to run, the Gemini's have a cult following, wherever they raced.

This example, was built by Gp C stalwart Bernie McClure and raced from 1977 to the end of Gp C in 1984. Quite a few racing miles were racked up in those special years, some would say, they were our greatest Motorsport years ever seen...

McClure sold the car to John White in 1980 who in 82 sold it to Les Szrgniawski (No, I don't know how to pronounce that either.) which is when she got the full serve of the awesome flared guards, fatter boots, 5 speed box and Detroit Locker Diff. A larger 1800cc engie was installed and a Weber popped on top, just to mke her Group C perfect.

This pretty little Gem has only had 4 owners after her Gp C career ended. She is well documneted and comes with a HEAP of spares. She is ready to race and actively looking for her 5th owner to give her a thrashing on the odd weekend at the track, in the booming Heritage Touring Cars category.
